Frequently asked questions about car servicing

How often should the car have a service?

As a rule of thumb, roughly every 15,000 km with city driving and every 30,000 km with long-distance driving. Always follow your car's service schedule, or contact us if you are unsure.

What is the difference between a minor and a major service?

A minor service is a routine inspection with replacement of the oil and relevant filters. A major service is more comprehensive and follows the manufacturer's intervals for, among other things, additional fluids and wear parts.

Do you offer servicing for electric cars?

Yes. We have a dedicated service for electric cars, including a check of the 12V and high-voltage systems. See also electric and hybrid cars.

Do I keep the new-car warranty when servicing at an independent workshop?

Yes. You are free to use an independent workshop and still keep the new-car warranty, as long as the service is carried out according to the manufacturer's service schedule and documented.
