Privacy policy

This policy explains how Oppsal Bilservice | Oslo Bilelektriske processes personal data when you use the website, send a request or chat with the digital assistant. Enquiries sent from the software page are handled by Koblingsverket and are described in a separate section below.

Chat and enquiry data that does not become an active job is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed for follow-up.

Maps and cookies

Google Maps does not load automatically. If you choose “Load Google Map”, your browser connects to Google, which may receive your IP address and technical browser data and use its own cookies. You can use the regular directions link without loading the embedded map.

Chat and digital assistant

The digital assistant helps with common questions and collects the information needed for your request. A member of staff always confirms appointments, prices and professional assessments. Chat content is processed to follow up your enquiry and to keep the service running safely. Do not share BankID details, passwords or other sensitive data in the chat.

Job applications

If you send an application through Work with us, we process your name, email address, any phone number, the position you are applying for, your application text and the files you upload (CV and any application document). The information is used only to consider you for a position with us, and the processing is based on the consent you give in the form.

The application is sent as an internal email notification to our own recruitment mailbox (work@oppsalbil.no) and is not shared with anyone else. We keep the application for up to one year so that we can get in touch if a suitable position becomes available, and then delete it. You may withdraw your consent and ask us to delete the application at any time by contacting us.

Software enquiries (Koblingsverket)

The form on the software page is not a workshop request. For the information you send there, CBS Media AS, org. no. 922 953 910, Manglerudveien 74, 0678 Oslo, is the data controller. The company operates Koblingsverket. Contact: hei@koblingsverket.no.

The information is used only to assess and answer your enquiry. The legal basis is the consent you give in the form, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing the address above.

The enquiry is sent by email through Oppsal Bilservice's email setup. Until Koblingsverket's own mailbox is in use, it is also received and read in a mailbox at Oppsal Bilservice, on behalf of Koblingsverket. The website and the receiving function are hosted at Vercel. Your email address is used only as a reply address. No automatic email or SMS is sent to you. A person reads the enquiry and decides whether and how you are contacted.

The enquiry is kept for as long as it is needed to follow it up, and is deleted no later than 12 months after the last contact if it does not become a customer relationship. For access, rectification or erasure, contact hei@koblingsverket.no or service@oppsalbil.no. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing where the law gives you the right to do so.
