ECU programming and coding in Oslo
You do not need to go to a main dealer to have your car's control units programmed. We have the programming solutions, diagnostic equipment, access and specialist support needed to carry out ECU programming and coding at our workshop at Ensjø. When needed, we can call on expert assistance throughout the job – from initial diagnostics to programming and final checks.
Important: We only program new control units. Used units are not programmed.
Everything in one place at our own workshop
We identify the registration number or VIN, model year, control unit and the work required before the appointment, so that the correct software, access and procedure are ready when the car arrives. Brand-experienced technicians from Opus IVS can assist us directly throughout the process when necessary.

Opus IVS lists full remote support for programming and coding on selected models from, among others, Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Citroën, Cupra, Dacia, DS, Fiat, Ford, Jaguar, Kia, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Opel, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, SEAT, Skoda, Tesla, Volkswagen and Volvo.
The list is not a guarantee of coverage for every model or module. Coverage may vary between ECU variants, model years and markets. According to Opus IVS, Tesla requires an additional cable kit. We therefore confirm feasibility before the car is booked in.
How we scope the job
- You send us the registration number and describe what you would like done.
- We identify the car, the relevant control unit and any fault codes or symptoms.
- We check coverage, the required original software, cables, access and battery support.
- You are told whether it is possible, the price and the expected time before the work is booked.
- We carry out checks before and after programming and document the result.
Important to know
ECU programming is part of a documented repair and is no substitute for proper diagnostics. We only take in new control units for programming and coding; used units are not covered by this service. We do not offer power increases, chip tuning, emissions tampering, mileage alteration or bypassing of the car's security systems. Security-related work requires proof of identity and documentation of ownership.
